Our direct client is looking for Data Solutions Architect , India, Remote .Required: Experience with Snowflake or proven track record of learning independently.Must Haves: - Designing Star Schema - EPosition Summary The Data Solutions Architect defines and maintains development standards within the Data and Analytics department, ensuring strategic technology projects align with business objectives for data warehouse and analytics capabilities. This role serves as a key liaison with data and analytics teams across all territories to drive standardization and establish effective ways of working. Key Responsibilities • Lead and oversee strategic projects with emphasis on building and maintaining the data model of our data warehouse • Evaluate and manage the technology stack utilized by the D&A team, making recommendations for improvements and optimizations • Manage strategic projects to ensure alignment with wider business and technology goals • Establish, document, and enforce development standards and best practices across the D&A function • Align development initiatives with company objectives for internal and external applications • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions meet business requirements • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the D&A team • Represent architecture standards in planning meetings and technical reviews • Drive innovation in data architecture and solution design across the organization • Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies in data and analytics Required Qualifications • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a data and analytics environment • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) • Demonstrated experience in data warehouse design and implementation • Proven track record of successful delivery of strategic data projects Essential Skills and Competencies • Solid understanding of AWS technology stack • Proficiency with Snowflake and ETL Tools (Matillion, Informatica, dbt, etc.) • Strong SQL knowledge and database design principles • Experience with modeling tools (e.g. SqlDBM, ER/Studio, etc.) • Experience in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) space or similar industry preferred • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority • Knowledge of data governance principles and practices Reporting Structure • Reports to the Senior Manager of Engineering at Yum! in the US Performance Indicators • Successful implementation of strategic data projects • Adoption rate of standardized development practices • Quality and efficiency of data warehouse design • Business value delivered through data solutions • Collaboration effectiveness with global teams Nice to Haves: - Experience with SQLDBM
