You shall identify risks, optimize design solutions, and collaborate with a wide range of professionals minimizing the potential for costly errors during construction, enhance the overall safety of the project, and ensures long-term functionality and sustainability.Key Responsibilities:- Ensure that all civil and structural designs and activities comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. - Conduct a thorough review of the design to identify any potential safety hazards, such as structural failures, flood risks, or vulnerabilities to seismic activity. - Verify the assumptions made during the design phase and also evaluate the engineering approach used in the design. - Review the selection of materials, Construction Methodology and ensure that the design is within budget and provides the best value - Collaborate with senior management and engage with clients to understand their project requirements and align engineering strategies with client goals. - Engage with clients to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and address client concerns. - Provide constructive feedback to improve the design in terms of safety, cost-effectiveness, and overall performance. - If the review uncovers issues with the design’s functionality, safety, or regulatory compliance, the incumbent will recommend modifications or redesigns. This may involve proposing alternative construction methods, materials, or layout configurations. - Ensure that all reviewed designs are signed off and approved by the relevant authorities or stakeholders before moving to the next phase of the project - Support the proposal team in document reviews and Technical Query (TQ) issuance to ensure effective proposal preparation. - Familiarity with software like STAAD Pro, AVEVA E3D, etc.
