Job Title: U.S. Tax and Accounting Associate Location: Ahmedabad Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: 2–4 yearsWe are hiring a U.S. Tax and Accounting Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in U.S. tax return preparation, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. This role requires working knowledge of major accounting software and the ability to manage multiple client engagements.Responsibilities: Prepare and review U.S. federal and state tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065) Handle quarterly estimated taxes, extensions, and annual filings Respond to IRS/state notices and support tax audits Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Maintain general ledger, post journal entries, and prepare financial reports Manage depreciation schedules and fixed asset tracking Communicate with clients regarding financial data and deadlines Ensure timely and accurate filings and financial statementsSoftware Proficiency: QuickBooks Online (QBO) Xero Accounting CS (Thomson Reuters) UltraTax CS (Thomson Reuters) Microsoft Excel Additional tools like Drake, Lacerte, Canopy, or Karbon are a plusQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2-4 years of experience with U.S. tax and accounting Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and IRS regulations Excellent communication skills and attention to detailPreferred: CPA or EA certification (or pursuing) Experience working with U.S.-based clients or CPA firms Familiarity with multi-state tax filingTo apply, please send your resume to Contact@ or click "Apply" on LinkedIn.
