Job Title

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Design & Engineer to support the planning, analysis, and design of civil package works in solar EPC projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire Civil related sdesigns , structural and geotechnical design, site grading, layout planning, and support during execution, ensuring all work complies with applicable codes and standards. Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities Design & Engineering:  Design foundations for module mounting structures (MMS), inverters, transformers, and other plant infrastructure.  Prepare structural drawings, layout plans, trenching, drainage designs, and grading plans.  Conduct soil load-bearing capacity assessments and analyze geotechnical reports.  Optimize land usage through detailed topography and grading analysis. Documentation & Analysis:  Prepare design calculations, BOQs, structural analysis reports, and engineering drawings.  Ensure compliance with IS, BIS, NBC, and applicable international codes (e.g., ASCE, ACI, Eurocodes).  Review and approve civil design documents from consultants or subcontractors. Project Execution Support:  Coordinate with project and site execution teams for civil-related construction activities.  Support on-site troubleshooting and validate design feasibility.  Conduct civil inspections and quality checks during construction. Cross-Functional Coordination:  Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and project management teams to integrate civil designs with overall plant layout.  Work with procurement to evaluate vendors and material specifications. Role Demands (Travel) As and when required. Qualification B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering Key Result Areas (KRA):  Proficient in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Civil 3D, or similar design tools.  Knowledge of civil engineering standards, geotechnical analysis, and structural design.  Experience with drainage, road, and stormwater system design.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Excellent team coordination and communication abilities. Preferred Skills: 5 to 7 years of experience in civil design for solar power plants (utility-scale preferred).  Experience with both RCC and steel structures in infrastructure projects.  Familiarity with solar project lifecycle from concept to commissioning.
