SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1) Spend base analysis: Lead packaging spend base analysis for identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiencies, increase share of business with strategic suppliers while de-risking supply continuity.2) Value engineering: Project manage value engineering and sustainability platform workstream to ensure timely and efficient delivery of results.3) Sourcing KPI: Lead implementation of strategic sourcing objectives (Cost efficiency, Vendor consolidation, near to factory, Share of business with strategic suppliers, compliance with EPR and ESG) of packaging by fostering business relationship with the right suppliers while influencing improvement of their performance across KPIs of quality, cost, and service.4) EPR Reporting: Organize and report purchase and consumption of plastic packaging and sale data of products using plastic based packaging to ensure compliance with EPR and PWP.5) Vendor Management: Leverage packaging domain expertise for new vendor identification, vendor consolidation, assessment, and development for meeting strategic sourcing objectives.6) Ensure business continuity while driving strategic sourcing initiatives by anticipating and proactively solving operational challenges in collaboration with suppliers and relevant stakeholders in the factory.7) Support negotiation: As a domain expert on the front line with strong grounding in packaging line operations, build strong data analytics to support negotiations based on zero based costing, material price trend, share of business and volume projection.8) Lead analysis of quotations and cost breakup against specification to derive actionable interpretations for delivering efficiency.9) Innovation: Bring in outside perspective and ideas to improve existing SOPs for delivering competitive advantage through strategic sourcing and category management.10) Support alignment of category strategies with business and sourcing strategies by using right suppliers, setting clear expectations and consistently delivering on commitments.Post-Graduation (Full Time)PGD or Masters in Business Management.GraduationB.E or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ PackagingWork ExperienceMinimum 6+ years of experience.
