The team plans, designs, and executes performance tests using NeoLoad or similar tools to evaluate system scalability, stability, and responsiveness; experienced in analyzing performance metrics and identifying bottlenecks to optimize application performance.Candidate will work across multiple products & engineering teams to manage a squad within the Growth Quality Engineering Test Execution team, ensuring effective execution of end-to-end performance testing activities for each new release. Act as a technical and operational lead for testers and automation engineers, driving quality and consistency in testing activities.Job Responsibilities:- Manage, develop, and mentor the performance engineering team, specializing in Neoload and K6 for automated scripting, load and stress testing of applications and services. - Expert in observability solutions Davis and Grail within Dynatrace to provide deep analytics, AI-driven insights, and automated anomaly detection. - Collaborate closely with developers and cloud engineers to ensure robust analytics, reporting, and performance benchmarking, utilizing Neoload, K6, and Dynatrace dashboards. - Lead troubleshooting and performance issue resolution with Dynatrace, leveraging Davis AI for automated problem identification and Grail for advanced data querying and analytics. - Champion continuous improvement in performance testing practices, tool selection, and adoption of leading-edge products like Harness, K6, Davis, and Grail.Management Competencies:Skill and Experience:- 8+ years of experience in software engineering (software development & building products), with at least 5+ years in leadership role (people management). - 6+ years of technical experience within architecture development, integration of backend systems, and development - Self-driven, curious and a fast learner, and able to work in a fast-paced environment - Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks - Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate between technical and business teams - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills - Influencing technology strategy by providing strategic advice, being a trusted advisor to discipline partners - Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to both Product owners in a business-friendly manner and to Enterprise Architects in most technical detail - Expertise in performance testing tools (Neoload, K6) and APM/observability platforms (Dynatrace, Davis, Grail). - Experience with CI/CD automation and orchestration using Harness. - Strong analytical and leadership abilities to interpret and communicate complex data, driving technical strategy and cross-team collaboration. - This role ensures the highest system reliability and performance for modern cloud-native organizations leveraging cutting-edge monitoring, testing, and automation technologies.Education and Certifications:- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certificationWork location: Hyderabad, India.Work mode: HybridMarriott’s core values:At Marriott, our core value make us who we are.
