You will bridge advanced machine learning models with real-world business applications — from automating processes and enhancing decision-making to enabling entirely new user experiences. You bring a background in software engineering and a recent pivot to building GenAI solutions.You’ll work closely with product, data, and engineering teams to prototype, fine-tune, and operationalize large language models (LLMs) and multimodal AI systems.At Stolt-Nielsen, we take Digital seriously. As we are further building up our engineering practice, there is ample room for you to contribute, take initiative and shape the future of our ways of working and technology landscape.What You’ll Do:- Develop and deploy GenAI and Agentic solutions using LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Llama) for various business and customer use cases. - Design and optimize prompts, system messages, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines for high-quality, reliable output. - Integrate AI capabilities into applications via APIs, SDKs, and microservices using modern cloud and containerization technologies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, data scientists, engineers) to identify opportunities where AI adds measurable business value. - Monitor and evaluate model performance, cost efficiency, safety, and compliance with responsible AI principles. - Stay current with developments in generative AI research, tools, and frameworks, and proactively bring innovative ideas into production.What You’ll Bring:- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. - 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, of which 2+ years working with LLMs and GenAI applications. - Proven experience with GenAI / agentic frameworks such as Lang Chain, Lang flow, Pedantic - Experience integrating AI into production systems (e.g., via REST APIs or Node.js) - Experience consuming and building MCP servers - Experience with AI services and PaaS services for running workloads in cloud platforms (we use Azure) - Ideally, experience with Databricks, our primary data platform technology - Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into business impact. - Curiosity and creativity to explore emerging GenAI capabilities and responsibly push boundaries - Experience in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile delivery.Must Have Skills:- Python - Lang Chain or equivalent - Node.js / Angular / React - Azure services (AI services, data/storage)/ AWS - GIT and basic understanding of CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (we use Azure DevOps)
