We are expanding our Canadian client portfolio and seeking experienced professionals inbookkeeping and payroll management to support our operations across provinces.Job SummaryWe are hiring a Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist with demonstrated expertise in Canadian accountingstandards, payroll systems, and WCB compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analyticalcapabilities, a working knowledge of CRA regulations, and the ability to manage multi-province payrollcomplexities and workers’ compensation reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable.• Maintain general ledger integrity and assist with month-end/year-end closing.• Prepare financial statements and management reports using tools like QuickBooks Online, Sage,or Xero.Payroll & WCB Management• Process payroll for Canadian employees, ensuring accurate wage calculations, statutorydeductions (CPP, EI, Income Tax), and remittances.• Maintain payroll records and resolve employee queries.• Ensure compliance with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) guidelines and provincial employmentstandards.• Prepare and file T4s, ROEs, and other statutory reports.• Administer Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) filings across provinces (e.g., WSIB in Ontario,WorkSafeBC in British Columbia, WCB Alberta).• Track and report insurable earnings, manage WCB premium calculations, and support claimsdocumentation.Client Support• Deliver responsive and professional client service across time zones.• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders for compliance and reporting.Required Skills and Qualifications• Experience: Minimum 1 year in Canadian bookkeeping, payroll, and WCB reporting.• Technical Proficiency:o Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms.o Familiarity with CRA payroll regulations, GST/HST, WCB frameworks, and provincial taxrules.Skills:o Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.o Clear communication and ability to work in shifts to align with Canadian client hours.What We Offer• Competitive compensation and performance-linked incentives.• Exposure to Canadian financial operations and compliance frameworks.• Professional development and cross-border learning opportunities.• Inclusive and collaborative work culture.How to ApplyIf you're a detail-oriented professional with a passion for Canadian accounting, payroll, and WCBcompliance, send your resume and cover letter to
