The ideal candidate must have experience with government procurement, GeM bidding, and a good understanding of IT and ELV solutions such as CCTV, access control, networking, servers, UPS-Batteries, and related hardware.Key Responsibilities: 1. GeM Portal Management Manage product listings, categories, and compliance documentation on the GeM portal for IT and ELV products. Create, update, and maintain catalogues for servers, storage, laptops, desktops, CCTV systems, biometric devices, networking equipment, UPS systems, and related accessories. Ensure product specifications, images, and pricing are accurate and competitive. 2. Bid & Tender Management Identify relevant bids, tenders, and RA (Reverse Auction) opportunities in IT & ELV categories. Prepare technical and commercial bids in coordination with OEMs and internal teams. Participate in RA, negotiate pricing, and follow up on bid outcomes. Ensure timely submission of all bids and documentation. 3. Sales & Business Development Generate and convert opportunities from Government departments, PSUs, educational institutions, and other public sector organisations. Coordinate with OEMs like Dell, HP, HPE, Cisco, Fortinet, Surveillance brands, and UPS vendors for pricing and authorization letters. Promote IT Infrastructure and ELV solutions as per customer requirements on GeM. 4. Customer Relationship Management Maintain professional communication with GeM buyers and procurement officials. Follow up on enquiries, bid clarifications, and order finalisation. Ensure smooth coordination for delivery, installation, and post-sales support with operations teams. 5. Reporting & Compliance Maintain accurate MIS reports for bids, opportunities, RA participation, order status, and sales pipeline. Track competitor pricing and new product listings in relevant GeM categories. Ensure all activities comply with GeM terms, government procurement rules, and company policies.Required Skills & Qualifications: 1–3 years of experiencein GeM sales, government tendering, or IT/ELV product sales. Strong understanding of IT hardware and ELV solutions (CCTV, access control, networking equipment, UPS, etc.). Hands-on experience with GeM portal operations (bid submission, RA, catalogue management). Excellent communication, negotiation, and email drafting skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and online tender tools. Ability to work under deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
