We develop next-generation battery technologies at our state-of-the-art R&D Innovation Hubs in India and the UK.JOB SUMMARYAs Deputy General Manager – Learning & Development, you will lead the design, delivery, and facilitation of learning initiatives that build organizational capability and drive business performance. You will collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure learning solutions are aligned with strategic objectives and tailored for a diverse, multinational workforce, with a strong focus on manufacturing operations. Your expertise in learning design, change management, and leadership development will be critical in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.RESPONSIBILITIESLearning & Development Strategy- Develop and execute L&D strategies that address current and future capability needs, integrating global best practices and local requirements. - Lead the design and delivery of learning programs, workshops, and blended learning solutions, with a focus on manufacturing excellence. - Evaluate learning effectiveness and drive continuous improvement using data-driven insights.Global Stakeholder Management- Partner with global business leaders, HR teams, and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and co-create impactful solutions. - Adapt learning programs for diverse cultural and operational contexts, ensuring relevance and effectiveness across geographies.Learning Design & Facilitation- Apply advanced instructional design principles to create engaging, learner-centric programs. - Facilitate high-impact training sessions, workshops, and leadership development programs for all levels, including senior leaders. - Coach and mentor internal trainers and managers to enhance facilitation skills and build internal capability.Change Management- Lead change management initiatives to support the adoption of new learning solutions and organizational transformation. - Develop communication and engagement plans to drive buy-in and sustain learning outcomes.Leadership Development- Design and implement leadership development frameworks to build a robust pipeline of future leaders. - Identify high-potential employees and create targeted development plans for succession and career progression. - Support senior leaders in developing critical leadership competencies for a dynamic, global business environment.Performance Enablement- Integrate learning solutions with performance management processes to drive individual and team effectiveness. - Support managers in leveraging learning to enhance team performance and engagement.Employee Engagement & Culture Building- Promote a culture of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement. - Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster an inclusive workplace.HR Analytics & Reporting- Use HR analytics to measure learning impact and provide actionable insights to senior management. - Track key metrics such as training effectiveness, participation rates, and skill development outcomes.Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceEssential:- 12–15 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, with significant exposure to facilitation, learning design, and leadership development. - Preference for candidates with experience in the manufacturing sector and working with global stakeholders. - Strong expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and facilitation techniques. - Proven experience in change management and driving organizational transformation through learning. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional, multicultural teams.Desired:- Experience in implementing digital learning platforms and blended learning solutions. - Certification in facilitation, coaching, change management, or related L&D disciplines. - Proficiency in HRIS and learning management systems.QUALIFICATION- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources - Master’s in HRM, Organizational Development, Psychology, or Education.
