Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Civil Designer to support the design and development of civil engineering projects such as site plans, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways. The role involves close collaboration with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure all designs meet project requirements, regulatory standards, and deadlines.Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. - Experience in civil design, preferably within consulting or engineering firms.Software Skills- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation. - Knowledge of GIS tools and hydraulic modeling software is an added advantage.Interpersonal Skills- Strong communication and teamwork abilities. - Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. - Good team player with a positive attitude. - Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Technical Skills- Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and industry standards. - Experience in grading, drainage, and utility design. - Ability to perform engineering calculations and conduct site assessments.Key Responsibilities- Prepare and develop civil designs including site plans, grading, utilities, drainage, and roadways. - Create and maintain CAD drawings and project documentation. - Conduct technical calculations and perform site analyses. - Ensure project deliverables comply with applicable codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards. - Coordinate and collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers. - Perform quality checks and resolve design-related issues. - Stay updated with industry developments and attend relevant trainings.
