Job Description for Associate ProfessorTeaching & Learning- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science and related specialisations (AI, ML, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, etc.). - Develop course materials, lesson plans, lab exercises, and assessments. - Mentor and advise students on academic and career development. - Ensure high-quality classroom delivery and innovative pedagogical practices.Research & Publications- Conduct independent, high-quality research in core or emerging areas of Computer Science. - Publish consistently in reputed peer-reviewed journals and conferences. - Apply for and manage funded research projects (Desirable). - Guide M.Tech./Ph.D. scholars and supervise research projects.Academic Leadership- Contribute to the development and revision of curriculum and academic policies. - Participate in departmental committees, accreditation processes (NBA/NAAC), and academic planning. - Lead or participate in faculty development programs, workshops, and seminars. - Engage in industry collaborations, outreach, and partnerships.Student Engagement & Mentorship- Provide academic counselling, project supervision, and research guidance. - Support students in internships, placements, and professional growth.Institutional Service- Assist in admissions processes, academic audits, and departmental activities. - Uphold institutional values, academic ethics, and quality standards.Qualifications & Eligibility- Ph.D. in Computer Science / CSE / IT / or related discipline (mandatory). - Minimum experience: 5 years post PhD completion with High-quality research and publications in SCI/Scopus/UGC-indexed journals.Preferred Specialisations:- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning - Data Science / Big Data Analytics - Cybersecurity - Cloud Computing / DevOps - Internet of Things (IoT) - Blockchain - Computer Networks - Software Engineering
