Job Description – Assistant Manager- ResourcingRole Overview:The role is responsible for driving end-to-end resource management processes to ensure optimal workforce deployment, improved utilization, and seamless alignment between business demand and talent supply. This position works closely with business leaders, HR teams, and operations to support planning, decision-making, and operational efficiency across service lines.Key Responsibilities1. Resource Planning & Allocation- Oversee end-to-end resource management activities, including allocation, utilization tracking, and demand–supply analysis across service lines. - Monitor resource availability, workload distribution, and skill-set alignment to ensure optimal deployment.2. Staffing & Hiring Evaluation- Evaluate and approve hiring requests by assessing skill availability, current utilization levels, and approved headcount forecasts. - Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR to ensure staffing decisions meet business and project requirements.3. Stakeholder Collaboration- Work closely with business leads, engagement teams, and HR stakeholders to support staffing strategies aligned with organizational priorities. - Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on workforce planning and utilization trends.4. Reporting & Analytics- Prepare and publish essential reports including Utilization Reports, Resource Availability Status, and Demand–Supply summaries for business stakeholders. - Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improving resource efficiency through data-driven insights.5. Tool Implementation & Process Enhancement- Contribute to key tool transition initiatives, including the implementation of new Resource Management and Timesheet tools. - Support feature enhancements, process alignment, system testing, and user enablement to ensure smooth adoption. - Serve as the primary point of contact for tool-related queries within the Tax function, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication throughout the transition phase.
