Job Title: Senior Business Analyst / Product ManagerLocation: Chennai / BangaloreExperience: 4 – 10 yearsPosition Overview:The Senior Business Analyst / Product Manager – Payroll will be responsible for driving the functional design, roadmap, and continuous enhancement of the Payroll product. The role involves deep engagement with customers and internal stakeholders to translate business needs into functional requirements, ensuring statutory compliance, scalability, and a seamless user experience.The incumbent will act as the product’s subject matter expert,collaborating with engineering, QA, and delivery teams to deliver robustand compliant payrollsolutions across geographies. The Product Managerwill act as the bridge between customers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams, ensuring that our Payroll product continues to deliver best-in-class compliance, accuracy, and user experience across geographies.Key Responsibilities:Product Strategy& Roadmap- Define and drive the product vision,roadmap, and releaseplanning for the product. - Identify opportunities for product enhancements based on markettrends, customer feedback, and regulatory updates. - Work closely with leadership to define productKPIs and successmetrics. - Benchmark productcapabilities against leadingpayroll solutions to maintain competitive advantage.Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering- Engage with customers, internalstakeholders, and implementation teams to gather business requirements and pain points. - Translate businessneeds into detailedfunctional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. - Prioritize featuresand improvements balancingbusiness value, effort,and technical feasibility.Functional Design &Validation- Design end-to-end process flows,configuration options, and calculation logic. - Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and UX teams duringproduct design, development, and testing. - Validate functional deliveries and perform user acceptance testing(UAT) to ensurealignment with business needs.Key Skills & Competencies- Strong understanding of product capabilities, payroll processes and practices, reimbursements, and final settlements. - Hands-on experience with HCM/Payroll applications (Oracle, Workday,Darwinbox, ADP etc.). - Proven ability to manage end-to-end product lifecycle – from ideationto delivery. - Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills. - Experience workingin agile/scrum environments. - Ability to balance multiplepriorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.Qualifications- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, HR, Finance, Engineering or a relatedfield. - 6–10 years of experience as a BusinessAnalyst / ProductOwner / ProductManager, with a strong focus on Payroll. - Certification in Agile, Scrum,or Product Management is an added advantage.
