The Accounting Manager is a key leadership role responsible for providing finance leadership and oversight for our company's operations within the North America Region. This individual will play a critical role in developing and executing financial strategies that align with our goals and drive value for our stakeholders. With their extensive experience and expertise in accounting & finance, they will provide guidance and leadership to their team and work collaboratively with other departments to achieve our objectives.ResponsibilitiesAccounting - Developing a high-performing finance team that delivers exceptional results. Overseeing the company's accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.Compliances - Ensuring compliance with all financial reporting requirements, including GAAP and IFRS standards. Managing the company's tax compliance and reporting.Reporting - Managing the month-end and year-end close processes, including the preparation and review of financial statements and reports to the regional and global leadership teams.Forecasting - Lead and oversee the annual/quarterly/monthly planning processes, including, but not limited to forecasts of the income statement, balance sheet, cashflow, etc.Budgeting & Analysis - Leading the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, and financial modeling.Business Partnership - Collaborating with other departments to ensure that financial information is accurate, relevant, and timely. This involves working closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and provide support on any financial matter.Audits - Leading the company's internal and external audit functions, including the preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit inquiries.Internal Controls - Responsible for identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to improve the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.Risk Management - Help implement a strong financial risk identification and mitigation process.Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field required or equivalent experience - CPA or other finance-related certification demonstrating mastery of accounting, e.g. CMA, CA, MBA - At least 10 years’ experience in Finance & Accounting - Exposure to SAP or similar ERP, Excel, Power BI and other data analytics and visualization tools
