For a candidate, this means exposure to real-world energy systems, IoT integrations, edge firmware like Enode, communication protocols, AI/ML applications, and industrial data flows with opportunities to grow across multiple sectors.Candidate Requirements :Basic exposure to solar/renewable energy systems and understanding of inverters, meters, and transformers. Hands-on experience with Enode or similar data loggers, Modbus device integration, and end-to-end data flow validation (Sensor → Modbus → Enode → MQTT → Merlin UI). Strong fundamentals in electrical concepts (Active/Reactive Power, PF, V/I) and awareness of inverter control modes (V/Q/PF). Good knowledge of Modbus RTU/TCP, register types, data types, scaling/multipliers; familiarity with OPC-UA, MQTT, and networking is a bonus. Proficiency in Excel, basic documentation/reporting, and analytical skills; Python and AI/ML understanding are added advantages. Understanding of IoT sensors, calibration, RS485/Modbus/LoRa/4G integrations, and general hardware troubleshooting. Ability to take ownership, coordinate with field teams/vendors, and guide juniors when required. Field readiness for site visits, wiring/SLD understanding, commissioning and troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving ability, eagerness to learn new technologies, and adaptability across diverse industrial environments.
