Our client is a data intelligence company collecting and analysing global data for finance and insurance sectors. The Senior Research Analyst – Employee Benefits and Pensions will work closely with the core team of our clients from UK, understand market needs and deliver industry leading web-based products and services.Krima Solutions intends to add skilled and energetic team at the client-end that will focus on researching, analysing and reporting on pension, social security and other employee benefits around the world, and the many existing and emerging risks and changes that impact the global insurance industry.Requirements:Our client’s research, intelligence and commentary on pension and insurance markets worldwide gives clients a competitive advantage allowing them to pro-actively lead their business while staying aligned with the constantly evolving world of regulation and compliance. Our information on typical employee benefits allows our clients to benchmark their own pension and employee benefits offering against their competitors.Roles and responsibilities·Communicate market developments in pension legislation worldwide, based on research from legislative, government and news sources.• Check the quality, accuracy and integrity of the pensions and employee benefits content in client’s product set.• Produce written analysis of pensions markets for use in client’s products as well as whitepapers and other market focused channels.• Respond to client requests and content questions.• Being a subject matter expert in pensions and a go-to for team members.·Candidates should have a penchant for researching on employee benefits and pensions and the ability to read, understand and decipher data from different sources for several countries. Use of technology tools will be an advantage.Experience & SkillsCandidates should have at least 2-5 years of experience in working in the insurance sector or knowledge of employee benefits and pensions at a global level.Essential:Good understanding of private pension plans and social security systems.• Good understanding of both defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) pension plans.• Experience in researching and summarising regulations and information from pension and life insurance supervisory bodies.• Good writing and proof-reading skills.• Excellent reading comprehension and attention to detail.·Global understanding or international experience in handling pensions and employment benefitsDesirable:• Familiarity with other employee benefits (such as group life, private medical insurance (PMI), maternity benefits, flexible benefits etc) is desirable.• Additional language skills are a bonus, but not a requirement.Qualifications:A graduate or post-graduate in with finance, insurance, economics or similar fieldsKnowledge of MS Excel, Power BI and ability to structure and format data is requiredFreshers with no experience need not apply.Those involved in insurance or employment benefits in HR teams but with a penchant to conduct secondary research in the insurance sector may apply.
