Job Requirements:- Between 10-15 years of total years experience with majority of which as a Project Manager - Candidate must have worked on implementation of NetSuite OR similar ERP related product - Proven leadership, client management, and stakeholder management - Must be willing to travel local or overseas as needed - Must be willing to work on a fixed night shift schedule M-F 6pm-3am - Open to hire in Bangalore OR HyderabadJob Overview:Accountable for the management of large and/or multiple small offshore delivery projects, with responsibility of ensuring that the Global Delivery Center meet all requirements in the delivery of a quality application to the Customer within agreed time and cost plansProject Planning- Work with the Regional PM to create a budget and project plan for the Technical Design, Development, Testing, and Support effort. Builds realistic time estimates, work plans and schedules that reflect budget, projectachievementss and staffing mix. - Structures projects/activities to enable reasonable workload and work/life balance - Plan and implement all actions required to deploy the application, both technically and functionallyProject Management- Be responsible for and manage day-to-day activities of an offshore project team or multiple offshore project teams - Coordinate with the Portfolio Manager to ensure that project team members are shared across projects when appropriate - Ensure that changes in scope or schedule are justified, covered financially and agreed to by appropriate decision makers - Monitor key project metrics such as billable utilization, defect statistics, actuals vs estimates variances. - Support Portfolio Manager in project blocking issuesQuality Management- Familiarize the team with the customer needs, specifications, design targets, the development process, design standards, techniques and tools to support task performance - Assure that the team addresses all relevant issues within the specifications and various standards - Ensure that processes are in place to deliver high quality service - Risk and Issue Management - Anticipate, report, and address potential issues to minimize project impact - Track and report on project risks with corresponding contingencies and prioritiesProject Communications- Communicate team status, task accomplishment, and direction to regional project managers, portfolio managers, and practice managers - Coordinates meetings with the Customer, Regional PM, Offshore leaders and/or and Portfolio managers to discuss project impediments, needed resources or issues/delays in completing the task - Provide status reporting of team activities against the program plan or schedule - Keep the Project Key Stakeholders advised of task accomplishment, issues and status - Serve as a focal point to communicate and resolve interface and integration issues with other teams - Advance issues which cannot be resolved by the team - Provide guidance to the team based on management directionStaff Management- Coach and mentor team members - Manage staff performance to obtain desired performance level - Provide performance feedback during appraisal period - Share responsibility in promoting learning and transfer of knowledge within the organization.
