Pre-Sales Specialist / Pre-Sales Consultant – Lending SolutionsLocation: Chennai / MumbaiEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant with strong Lending Domain & Solution Consulting expertise. This role requires hands-on experience in lending operations, workflows, risk assessment, credit decisioning, and digital lending platforms—not just generic pre-sales experience.The ideal candidate must be able to deeply understand the end-to-end lending lifecycle, translate lender business needs into product-led solutions, and articulate value to stakeholders across US and European lending markets.Key ResponsibilitiesLending Domain Solution Consulting- Engage with lending institutions to understand business workflows, credit policies, underwriting processes, and regulatory requirements. - Map lending workflows (Retail Lending, SME/MSME Lending, Commercial/Corporate Lending, Consumer Loans, BNPL, Mortgage, etc.) to product capabilities. - Provide domain-led solution advisory aligned with lending industry best practices and compliance standards. - Conduct workshops to assess current-state vs. future-state lending transformation opportunities.Pre-Sales & Product Fitment- Translate customer lending requirements into tailored product demonstrations and solution proposals. - Deliver compelling presentations detailing lending value propositions, process improvements, and ROI impact. - Lead technical/functional discussions focusing on lending use cases, credit decisioning, data flows, scoring models, integrations, and compliance.RFP/RFI & Due Diligence Ownership- Analyze and respond to RFPs/RFIs from banks, NBFCs, digital lenders, and financial institutions. - Collaborate with product, credit policy SMEs, and engineering to craft accurate and competitive responses. - Own lending solution write-ups including functional, technical, and domain components.Product Demonstrations- Build customized demo scenarios and scripts around lending workflows such as: - Digital onboarding & KYC - Loan origination - Credit underwriting & scoring - Document verification - Loan servicing & collections - Regulatory compliance (KYC/AML, risk checks) - Demonstrate end-to-end lending lifecycle processes using the product.Solution Collateral Development- Create lending-focused decks, whitepapers, POV documents, solution blueprints, and use-case write-ups. - Support sales with business case creation, competitor differentiation, and value-based selling.Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work with Product Management to influence lending-specific feature enhancements and roadmap priorities. - Partner with Engineering on integrations (LOS, LMS, CBS, KYC/AML, credit bureaus, fraud systems). - Assist Sales with deal strategies for lending stakeholders (Chief Credit Officer, Head of Lending, Risk Head, COO, etc.).Market & Competitive Intelligence- Track lending trends including digital lending adoption, embedded finance, regulatory changes, credit analytics, fraud/risk models, and competitor platforms. - Share domain insights to improve solution positioning and help shape product evolution.Required Skills & ExperienceMust-Have- 5–12 years of experience in Lending Domain Solution Consulting + Pre-Sales (both required). - Strong understanding of lending/BFSI processes: - Retail Loans, SME/MSME Loans, Commercial Lending, Mortgage, BNPL, Credit Underwriting, KYC/AML, Risk, Collections, Compliance. - Ability to convert lending workflows into product-led use cases and tangible business value. - Experience delivering lending-focused demos, workshops, discovery sessions, and solution design. - Strong track record in responding to lending-specific RFPs/RFIs. - Excellent communication, storytelling, and value-selling capabilities.Good-to-Have- Experience with Lending SaaS platforms, LOS, LMS, Digital Lending Systems, or Core Banking integrations. - Understanding of integrations with CRM, credit bureaus, KYC/AML systems, scoring engines, fraud detection tools. - Exposure to lending markets in U.S. and Europe. - Experience working with cross-functional global teams and distributed time zones.
