Key Responsibilities- Analyze competitor products within similar price points and identify opportunities for differentiation. - Study design trends, consumer behavior, packaging formats, and market gaps. - Generate insights to guide product and packaging direction. - Convert research insights into innovative concepts, ergonomic product designs, and impactful packaging solutions. - Develop sketches, 3D models, and prototypes for both product and packaging. - Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Packaging, and Manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility, cost alignment, and brand consistency. - Work with suppliers and manufacturing teams to finalize product and packaging designs. - Optimize materials, finishes, color ways, and packaging structures for market appeal. - Support marketing teams with packaging artwork, mock-ups, and launch collaterals. - Monitor product and packaging performance post-launch through feedback and sales insights. - Conduct retail visits and user testing to capture real-world responses.Implement improvements or variants based on consumer and market reactions.SkillsStrong understanding of design principles (typography, colour theory, layout, composition); expertise in Illustrator, Photoshop, and related design tools; ability to create 3D product/packaging mock-ups; solid knowledge of packaging design (structure, materials, artwork); strong market research capability; creative, iterative, user-centric design approach.
