Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Performance Tester with strong NeoLoad expertise to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests for complex enterprise applications, especially in financial services. This role requires a Day 0 productivity mindset, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to ensuring system scalability, stability, and responsiveness.Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts primarily using NeoLoad, covering load, stress, scalability, and endurance scenarios. - Execute performance test cycles, monitor system behavior, and analyze results to identify bottlenecks, throughput issues, and scalability constraints. - Collaborate with development, DevOps, and architecture teams to diagnose root causes and drive performance improvements. - Define performance benchmarks, SLAs, and KPIs for applications and microservices. - Develop reusable test assets, frameworks, and performance baselines to improve future test cycles. - Prepare detailed performance test reports, highlighting findings, risks, and remediation recommendations. - Participate in capacity planning exercises and provide insights into expected system behavior under varying loads. - Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines where applicable. - Stay updated with the latest performance engineering tools, analysis techniques, and best practices.Job-Specific SkillsTechnical Skills- Strong hands-on experience in NeoLoad (mandatory) — scripting, parameterization, correlation, monitoring, custom actions. - Experience with other performance tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or K6 is a plus. - Solid understanding of performance metrics (CPU, memory, I/O, DB latency, thread analysis, service response time, throughput, etc.). - Experience with APM tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Elastic APM, Grafana). - Good knowledge of API performance testing (REST/SOAP). - Understanding of microservices, message queues, distributed systems, and their performance considerations. - Familiarity with log analysis, profiling tools, and monitoring dashboards (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana). - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions. - Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes). - Ability to document performance test strategies, execution results, tuning recommendations, and RCA reports.Functional Skills- Understanding of core financial processes (payments, banking transactions, customer onboarding, treasury, etc.). - Experience testing performance of core banking systems, digital banking platforms, payment hubs, or financial APIs is an advantage. - Ability to interpret business and technical requirements to define critical performance scenarios. - Strong understanding of data flows and transaction lifecycle within enterprise financial applications. - Awareness of regulatory and security considerations that may impact application performance.Performance Engineering Practices- Strong understanding of load modeling, workload distribution, concurrency estimation, and capacity planning. - Experience designing performance test strategies for complex enterprise architectures. - Ability to identify performance risks early in the SDLC and propose preventive improvements. - Familiarity with resilience, failover, and scalability testing.Soft Skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and interpret performance issues. - Clear communication skills for presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences. - Proactive mindset — ability to anticipate issues and propose solutions. - Strong collaboration with developers, architects, product owners, and infrastructure teams. - Ability to work under pressure with tight timelines.Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3–6 years of experience in performance testing, with at least 2 years of hands-on NeoLoad experience.Benefits- Competitive salary and performance incentives. - Opportunities for upskilling, certifications, and career advancement. - Supportive team culture focused on learning, innovation, and growth.
