Interested candidates, kindly mail to enpcareers.hr@Main Purpose:The Senior Environmental Engineer is responsible for arranging regular environmental monitoring, assisting in the implementation of environmental permit conditions, and preparing and submitting environmental compliance reports to statutory bodies. The role also involves contributing to Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015) improvement initiatives and improving environmental conditions and greenbelt development at sites.Job Accountabilities:- Facilitate and assist in achieving environmental statutory compliance at the site. - Ensure timely submission of statutory reports such as Environment Statements, Environment Audit Reports, Annual Returns under Hazardous Waste Management Rules and Biomedical Waste Management Rules, monthly reports, and six-monthly EC compliance reports, etc. - Responsible for environmental compliance management, sustainability audits, CTO renewal, and EC and FC processes. - Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (ISO 14001), procedures, and standards. - Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving the Environmental Management System to avoid environmental incidents. - Plan and ensure Water, Noise, Ambient Air Quality, and Stack Emission Monitoring through MoEFCC-approved agencies. - Track environmental analysis and monitoring results, including CEMS and CEQMS data records and analysis, and take necessary preventive and protective measures. - Support the plant in the implementation of environmental procedures and periodically update on environmental issues as per company management system requirements. - Prepare the annual Environmental Management Plan and develop a tracking system to ensure proper fulfilment of departmental objectives. - Plan and manage necessary upgrades, changes, and system/equipment modifications to achieve net-zero carbon emissions. - Conduct audits of the Environmental Management System as well as various RIL group environmental standards, and contribute to internal and external audits. - Impart training to employees and contractors on environmental compliance and management, and create awareness on environmental management. - Contribute to effective waste management activities, including ETP/STP/RO operations. - Support the promotion of environmental awareness at the site by organizing innovative activities. - Plan and monitor tree plantation for greenbelt development. - Perform any other job assigned by the Department Head (HSE) in the areas of Environmental Compliance and Environmental Management Systems. - Act as the single point of accountability for all statutory environmental requirements.Skills Required:- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and Environmental Management Systems (EMS). - Sound understanding of air, water, and noise monitoring processes, including the use of relevant equipment. - Ability to accurately interpret and analyze environmental monitoring data. - Experience in sustainability reporting, including GHG emission monitoring and control initiatives. - Strong environmental auditing skills with demonstrated competency in audit processes. - Exposure to CBM/oil/gas exploration and production activities will be an added advantage. - Effective team player with good coordination and communication skills. - Working knowledge of SAP and related environmental tools.Qualification:- Minimum Qualification: B.Tech in Environmental Engineering or B.Tech in Civil/Chemical Engineering with Post-Graduation in Environmental Science or equivalent.- Specific Experience: Certified ISO-14001 Lead Auditor. - Experience: 5–10 years of working experience in upstream (E&P) Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery industry.Interested candidates, kindly mail to enpcareers.hr@
