Engineer IIWe Are Looking for More then 7yrs+ Java with 5yrs And AWS,kafka 2yrs +Core Responsibilities:As an Engineer II, you will help form the core of our engineering practice at lululemon by contributing to all areas of development and operations (pre-production to production). You will be supported by a strong engineering group, and established engineering practices. You will be part of a production release team and may perform on-call support functions as needed. Having a DevOps mindset is the key to success in this role, as Engineers are commonly part of full DevOps teams that “own” all parts of software development, release pipelines, production monitoring, security and support.- Take part in Agile ceremonies. - Perform engineering assignments using existing procedures and best practices - Conduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts - Work closely with global teams to ensure deliver effective technical solutions - Provide an escalation point and participate in on-call support rotations - Actively monitor key metrics and report on trends - Participate in our Engineering Community of Practice - Contribute to engineering automation, management or development of production level systems - Perform reliability monitoring and support as needed to ensure products meet guest expectationsQualifications:- Completed Bachelor’s degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible. - 7 – 9 years of engineering experience - Strong knowledge of microservices design principles, REST APIs, and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). - Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space. - Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL - Hands on experience with CI/CD principals and best practices - Good knowledge and working experience in Agile methodology and familiar with tools like Jira and ConfluenceMust-Have Skills- Design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade Java (Spring Boot) applications with a focus on performance and scalability. - Solid understanding of microservice architecture and REST APIs. - Support the design, deployment, and integration of distributed microservice architectures. - Architect and manage secure, cost-optimized AWS cloud solutions leveraging native services. - Build and maintain high-throughput event streaming pipelines using Apache Kafka. - Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for seamless code integration and deployment. - Deploy, scale, and monitor containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker in production environments. - Build and maintain responsive, high-performance front-end applications using Angular (8+) - Working knowledge of Datadog, Splunk, or similar tools for monitoring, logging, and performance analysis.Good-to-Have Skills- Adapt solutions to meet the unique challenges of the retail domain and improve customer experience. - Integrate and optimize WMS and parcel engine systems for streamlined warehouse and logistics operations.
