Job Title: Legal Writer – Employment-Based ImmigrationOverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Legal Writer to join our team under direct attorney supervision. This role involves drafting high-quality, persuasive filings for complex employment-based immigration matters, including L-1, O-1 Extraordinary Ability, EB-1A/EB-1C, EB-2 NIW, and responses to RFEs/NOIDs. The ideal candidate has strong legal writing skills, a keen eye for detail, and demonstrated experience handling high-volume, deadline-driven cases in U.S. business immigration law.Key Responsibilities- Draft, proofread, and fact-check core petition components, including petition letters, expert reference letters, legal arguments, and RFE/NOID responses, ensuring accuracy, persuasiveness, and compliance with USCIS requirements. - Review, analyze, and select supporting evidence (e.g., research publications, patents, industry awards, media) to demonstrate extraordinary ability, exceptional ability, or national importance. - Develop and draft case strategies for attorney review across L-1, O-1, EB-1, and NIW petitions. - Conduct legal and policy research on immigration regulations, policies, and case law to strengthen case filings. - Translate complex technical and professional achievements into clear, compelling narratives tailored to immigration adjudicators. - Manage a high-volume caseload, monitor deadlines, and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). - Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and account managers to manage workflows, address evidence gaps, and meet filing deadlines. - Respond to client inquiries in accordance with SLAs and escalate complex issues to attorneys where required. - Assist with drafting legal updates, client advisories, and website articles related to immigration developments. - Stay informed on immigration law developments, USCIS policy guidance, and adjudication trends to ensure best practices.Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Communications, English, or a related field. An LLB/advanced degree is a plus. - 3+ years of experience in U.S. employment-based immigration law, with at least 1 year focused on L-1, O-1, EB-1, and NIW petitions. - Strong knowledge of L-1, O-1, EB-1, and NIW criteria and related employment-based immigration processes. - Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex materials into persuasive narratives. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with attention to detail and quality.What We Offer- Opportunity to work on challenging, high-visibility immigration cases. - Collaborative environment with attorneys and immigration professionals. - Professional development and exposure to cutting-edge immigration strategies. - On-site (work from office) work in Hyderabad, 5 days a week, 9 AM – 6 PM. - Insurance coverage of 5 lakhs for the spouse and up to 3 children.
