TCS IS HIRING FOR ORACLE DBA_8 TO 10 YEARS_HYDERABAD_FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW ON 13 DEC-2025(SATURDAY)JD FOR REFERENCE:Job Description: Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)Location: Hyderabad, IndiaExperience Required: 4 to 7 yearsKey ResponsibilitiesDatabase Management:- Install, configure, upgrade, and manage Oracle databases across development, testing, and production environments. - Monitor database performance, implement performance tuning, and optimize queries.Backup & Recovery:- Design and implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN or other tools. - Manage disaster recovery plans and ensure database availability and resilience.Database Security:- Implement database security policies, including user management, access controls, and encryption. - Perform audits to ensure compliance with security standards.Performance Tuning & Optimization:- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. - Optimize database queries, indexes, and configurations for efficient operations.Troubleshooting:- Handle database incidents, root cause analysis, and problem resolution. - Provide support for database issues and ensure minimal downtime.Patching & Updates:- Apply database patches and updates as required. - Maintain database software and hardware compatibility.Documentation:- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures. - Provide knowledge transfer and training to other team members. - . - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Oracle 11g/12c/19c database administration. - Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard. - Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming. - Expertise in tools like RMAN, OEM, and database performance monitoring utilities. - Other Skills: - Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Skills:- Experience with cloud-based Oracle solutions such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). - Knowledge of other database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server. - Certification in Oracle Database Administration is a plus.Employment Type: Full-timeWork Model: On-site
