Position : AutoCAD Designer Location : Manesar (Filter Division)We are looking for an experiencedAutoCAD Designerwith strong expertise insheet metal design . The role involves creating detailed 2D/3D drawings, developing fabrication-ready models, and collaborating with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure smooth manufacturing and assembly.Key Responsibilities : Create accurate2D drawingsand3D modelsof sheet metal components and assemblies using AutoCAD and related CAD tools. Preparefabrication drawings ,bending details ,cutting layouts ,welding details , andBOMs (Bill of Materials) . Work closely with production teams to ensure drawings are feasible formanufacturing, punching/laser cutting, bending, welding, powder coating , etc. Modify and update designs as perengineering changesandcustomer requirements . Understand and implementGD&T , tolerances, material thickness, and sheet metal standards. Coordinate with vendors for feasibility and manufacturability improvements. Ensure drawings comply withquality standardsand company guidelines. Maintain documentation and support in product development activities.Required Skills & Qualifications : Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field. 2–4 years of experiencein sheet metal design (depending on your requirement). Strong hands-on experience inAutoCAD ; knowledge ofSolidWorksorInventoris an added advantage. Good understanding ofsheet metal fabrication processes(laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, finishing, assembly). Knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, and engineering standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Good communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills Experience inmanufacturing or sheet metal industry . Knowledge ofERP systemsfor BOM and production routing. Experience withelectrical enclosures, HVAC, cabinets, or industrial equipment(optional based on company).
