As an Assistant Manager – QA/QC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our construction quality standards are consistently met across all project sites. This role goes beyond checklists and inspections, it is about setting the benchmark for execution quality, driving a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring every delivered home meets our commitment to precision, durability, and customer satisfaction. If you are detail-oriented, quality-driven, and passionate about elevating construction standards, this role is for you.Key Responsibilities -1.Quality Control (QC) – Site Execution- Conduct routine inspections for civil, finishes, MEP and façade work as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements. - Monitor critical construction activities including shuttering, reinforcement, concrete pouring, blockwork, waterproofing, plastering, flooring, fire-stopping, façade installation and other specialized works. - Verify WIRs/MIRs raised by contractors and ensure timely closure with supporting documentation. - Identify workmanship issues and raise NCR/SNC for any deviations; track, follow up, and ensure closure. - Ensure sampling and testing of concrete, steel, aggregates, waterproofing systems, adhesives, sealants, and other materials as per IS codes. - Check calibration status of all equipment and ensure correct usage during on-site testing.2.Quality Assurance (QA) – Systems & Documentation- Maintain and implement the project-specific Quality Management Plan (QMP). - Prepare and update checklists, ITPs, SOPs, and method statements as required. - Conduct internal quality audits and support external audit processes. - Maintain comprehensive documentation including test reports, inspection records, NCR logs, material approvals, and mock-up evaluations. - Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) across site teams. - Support digital QC tools, snag management systems, dashboards, and reporting workflows.3.Coordination & Communication- Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction, Safety, MEP teams, and Contractors for all quality-related actions. - Participate in daily/weekly coordination meetings and present quality issues, risks, and progress updates. - Guide site engineers and supervisors on best construction practices, workmanship standards, and quality compliance. - Work closely with vendors and suppliers to verify material quality and ensure adherence to approved specifications.4.Continuous Improvement- Initiate and lead quality improvement drives, toolbox talks, and on-site training sessions. - Ensure implementation of best practices in waterproofing, façade installation, material storage, curing, protection, and finishing works. - Support root-cause analysis for recurring defects such as leakages, cracks, delamination, hollow sounds, and finishing issues.5.Snagging, De-Snagging & Handover Quality- Conduct detailed snagging of flats, common areas, façade elements, MEP services, and utilities. - Coordinate with execution teams to ensure timely de-snagging and closure. - Maintain snag logs, classify priority levels, and track closures to completion. - Verify final finishes, functional testing of services, and compliance with handover standards. - Support QA checks for mock-up flats and customer handover readinessCore Requirements- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering. - 4–8 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in residential high-rise projects. - Strong knowledge of IS codes, NBC guidelines, QA/QC procedures, and construction best practices. - Hands-on experience in structural, finishing, waterproofing, and MEP quality checks. - Proficiency in documentation, checklists, inspection systems, and audit processes. - Good communication, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple contractors and site teams. - Familiarity with digital QC tools, MS Office, and basic reporting software.About Viceroy PropertiesViceroy Properties is a Mumbai based luxury real estate developer, delivering exceptional spaces which are elegantly understated, and rooted in balanced and sustainable development practices.
