Our content blends documentary depth, podcast intimacy, and YouTube energy to inspire and engage a new wave of learners and creators.The RoleAs a Social Media Manager + Associate Producer, you will be responsible for building, managing, and growing NST’s presence across key social platforms, while also supporting the production of high-quality video content. You will shape conversations, nurture an active community, and help bring student-centric stories to life. This role blends strategic thinking, hands-on creative execution, and on-ground production involvement - ideal for someone who understands youth culture and wants to build a meaningful digital ecosystem.What You’ll DoSocial Media Strategy and Execution● Develop and execute a platform-wise social media strategy aligned with NST’s goals.● Manage content calendars, plan campaigns, and ensure timely publishing across platforms.● Maintain brand consistency in tone, design, and messaging across all channels.Content Creation and Curation● Create and curate engaging content across formats - text, images, carousels, reels, shorts,memes, student stories, and more.● Brief and review creatives for social-first formats, ensuring they are platform-native and engaging.● Ideate and write for social content that communicates complex ideas in simple, impactful ways.Community Management● Build and nurture a highly engaged student-first community.● Respond to comments, DMs, queries, and interactions with personality, empathy, and speed.● Track conversations related to NST and amplify relevant stories.Campaigns and Performance● Plan and execute social media campaigns, including paid promotions when required.● Track KPIs such as reach, engagement, CTR, CPC, and platform-specific growth.● Use analytics and insights to optimize content, messaging, and posting strategy.Trends and Platform Intelligence● Stay updated on social platform trends, features, algorithms, and youth culture.● Identify real-time opportunities to react, participate, and stay relevant.● Lead platform experimentation and testing.Associate Producer Responsibilities● Support in pre-production, production, and post-production of social and YouTube content.● Coordinate with vendors, creators, and freelancers when required.● Assist in on-ground shoots, managing schedules, logistics, talent, and basic direction.● Ensure production quality and timelines are met.What You’ve Done● 4–5 years of experience in digital content, youth media, or social media management.● Successfully grown one or more social channels with consistent engagement and clearstorytelling.● Demonstrated ability to transform ideas into high-performing posts, short videos, or social series.● Experience working with young audiences, especially students aged 15–19, is a majoradvantage.● Strong understanding of internet culture, trends, reels/shorts formats, and platform dynamics.● Hands-on experience with production - coordinating shoots, managing vendors, or assisting indirection.● Ability to simplify complex ideas into relatable, short-form content.● Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environments.Skills and Requirements● 4–5 years of experience managing social media for B2C, youth brands, creators, or digital-firstcompanies.● Proven ability to grow and manage social handles across Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube.● Must have a personal Instagram following of at least 10,000 followers, demonstrating realunderstanding of social growth.● Strong copywriting skills and the ability to adapt tone for different platforms.● Experience mentoring junior teammates, interns, or freelancers is a plus.● Understanding of organic and paid social basics, including targeting, optimization, and analytics.● Confident using scheduling, analytics, and planning tools.● Ability to collaborate with design, video, and content teams.● Strong time management, multitasking, and deadline discipline.● Familiarity with production workflows and vendor coordination.The Impact You’ll Create● NST’s YouTube universe grows into a trusted youth brand with 1M+ subscribers and 100M+organic views within 18–24 months.● Multiple high-performing video series establish NST as the definitive voice for India’s smart,ambitious teenagers.● Every video tells a story that feels real, relevant, and relatable - capturing the pulse of student life.Why Join Us● If you’ve ever wanted to create content that genuinely shapes a generation - not just entertains it - this is your moment.● You’ll get creative freedom, strong institutional backing, and a growing platform that valuesstorytelling, experimentation, and authenticity.
