Job Description: Pricing & Exports Sales – LogisticsLocation: Ahmedabad Department: Pricing & Exports Sales - Freight Forwarding ( Logistics ) Employment Type: Full-timeRole OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Pricing & Exports Sales to support pricing activities, customer communication, and backend logistics operations. This role is ideal for someone who can balance client-facing responsibilities with accurate operational execution in a fast-paced logistics environment.Key Responsibilities1. Pricing & Quotation Management • Prepare accurate and competitive freight quotations for sea, air, and surface shipments. • Source rates from shipping lines, transporters, and overseas agents. • Analyse market trends and competitor pricing to recommend optimal selling rates. • Maintain and update rate sheets and pricing databases.2. Inside Sales & Client Coordination • Act as the first point of contact for inbound client inquiries related to pricing, services, and shipment status. • Conduct follow-ups on shared quotations, negotiate rates where needed, and close deals. • Identify potential customers and generate sales leads through calls, emails, and CRM updates. • Build strong client relationships by providing timely assistance and clear communication. • Support the sales team by preparing proposals, presentations, and rate comparisons.3. Backend & Operational Support • Manage booking procedures, shipment documentation, and system entries for exports/imports. • Coordinate with carriers, internal teams, and vendors for schedules, bookings, and updates. • Prepare BL instructions, shipment trackers, and execution reports. • Follow up on pending documents, payments, and client approvals to ensure on-time movement.4. Reporting & Process Management • Maintain MIS reports, sales logs, quotation trackers, and pricing data. • Assist management with market insights, rate trends, and customer feedback. • Identify operational bottlenecks and propose improvements for pricing accuracy and sales efficiency.Skills & QualificationsRequired: • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field). • Basic understanding of freight forwarding (FCL, LCL, air cargo, incoterms). • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for inside sales. • Strong analytical ability with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.Preferred: • 6 months–2 years of experience in logistics, pricing, sales, or freight forwarding. • Experience handling client calls/emails, CRM tools, or sales pipelines.What We Offer • Exposure to global freight operations, pricing strategy, and B2B inside sales. • Opportunity to grow into a core sales or operations leadership role. • Dynamic and collaborative environment with strong learning opportunities.
