Job Description

Key responsibilities Own label and mono-carton technical packs (dielines, artwork, substrates, inks, finishing specs). Prepare and review print-ready files; manage version control, pre-press checks and sign-off processes. Work with suppliers and printers on print proof approvals, color management (Pantone/CMYK), and production constraints (offset, flexo, digital). Develop and maintain carton structural specs (board grade, fluting, GSM, fold/cut tolerances) and master dielines. Define pack orientations, case packs, secondary grouping, and palletization rules with operations and logistics. Run quality checks on incoming label/carton samples and production runs; document non-conformances and follow-up corrective actions. Support cost-savings and waste-reduction initiatives (material optimization, printed area reduction, right-sizing). Coordinate with R&D, Marketing, Procurement, Quality and Supply Chain on launches, SKU changes, and supplier transitions. Maintain packaging libraries (artwork masters, dielines, approved supplier lists) and update SOPs.Required qualifications & experience: 1–3 years’ experience in secondary packaging, packaging artwork/print production, or a closely related role (consumer goods, FMCG preferred). Degree/diploma in Packaging, Graphic/Print Technology — or equivalent hands-on experience. Practical experience preparing print-ready artwork and dielines; familiarity with pre-press checks. Working knowledge of common print processes (offset, flexo, digital) and finishing (lamination, Varnish, hot-foil, embossing). Comfortable liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive approvals and resolve issues. Good written and verbal communication; organized with attention to version control and detail.
