Key Responsibilities:- Container & Shipment Planning - Import Operations, Nomination accuracy for import shipments (Air/Sea) - Export Operations - Evaluate and select logistics service providers, carriers, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners, negotiating contracts, rates, and service level agreements (SLAs) to achieve cost savings and service quality for DDP & CIF Shipments - Conduct performance analysis and KPI tracking for logistics operations, measuring key metrics such as on-time delivery and transportation costs, and implementing improvements or corrective actions as needed. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry regulations governing transportation & warehousing activities, maintaining documentation and records as required. - Vendor & Service Provider Management - Performance evaluation of service providers (delivery timelines, cost efficiency) - Cross-functional Collaboration - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing, sales, and customer service, to align logistics activities. - Billing & Financial Coordination - Cost variance tracking vs budgeted logistics spend - MIS & Reporting - Monthly MIS submission timeliness, Insights generated for strategic decisions - Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, or issues related to logistics, transportation, or delivery, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.Requirements:- Experience of 12-15 Years - Having knowledge of International Logistics - Having knowledge of Indian customs clearance - Good knowledge of Export Operations for Incoterms CIF, FOB, DAP & DDP - Good connections with Shipping Lines & Freight Forwarders - Having experience in handling shipments to the US & LATAM (DDP Shipments) - Hands-on Experience on Excel & SAP
