Job Description – Group Financial Reporting (Chartered Accountant)Location: India (Delhi NCR)Role Type: Full-timeExperience: Chartered Accountant with 4–9 years of post-qualification experience (life insurance / financial services preferred)About the RoleWe are looking for a Chartered Accountant to join the Group Financial Reporting (GFR) team supporting a leading multinational life insurer.The role involves end-to-end support on consolidation, control checks, regulatory reporting templates, and recurring Annual/Half-yearly/quarterly group submissions. This position is ideal for someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple deliverables, and collaborate closely with global stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesAnnual/Half Yearly & Quarterly Close Activities- Perform FPC access review, FX rate checks, and materiality assessments - Support BU financial pack review and handle proof-reading / white-out checks - Execute ICP reconciliations and non-commercial transactions (HKIA) - Prepare Group overlays and assist BUs with submission requirements - Perform roll-forward of confirmation rule filesConsolidation & Journals- Prepare and post consolidation journals, including: - - Opening balance reconciliations - - Notional recharge / distribution rights journals - - Investment in subsidiaries - - Share-in-trust and treasury shares - Support XBRL tagging where applicableReporting & Analysis- Prepare and update IIM templates - Support ICS reporting and balance sheet valuation - Perform YOY analysis of investment assets - Manage entity listing updates for quarterly CASI templatesRegulatory, Disclosure & Other Activities- Contribute to disclosure preparation for group reporting - Support ONS returns and other regulatory templates - Coordinate certificate & white-out packs shared with BUsQuality & Controls- Ensure strong governance over reporting processes - Maintain documentation, SOPs, and audit trails - Support process improvements and standardization initiativesRequired Qualifications & Skills- Chartered Accountant (mandatory) - 4-9 years' experience in financial reporting, and consolidation - Experience with life insurance accounting or financial services (preferred) - Strong understanding of IFRS / HKFRS, consolidation concepts, and control frameworks - Proficiency in Excel; experience with reporting tools (OneStream, Workiva) is an advantage - High attention to detail, strong analytical mindset, and ability to meet tight timelines - Comfortable working with stakeholders across geographies and time zonesWhat You’ll Gain- Exposure to group-level financial reporting for a large international insurer - Hands-on experience across consolidation, regulatory reporting, and financial controls - Opportunity to work closely with the Hong Kong Group Finance team - A culture that values learning, ownership, and excellence
