Business Leadership & P&L Management- Own and drive the hospital business operation with accountability for revenue, profitability, Rank & Share. - Develop and execute annual business plans, forecasting, and budgeting. - Monitor performance of regions and adjust strategies based on competitive landscape. - Drive geographical expansion and penetration from Metro to tier 1–3 cities.B. Hospital Channel Management (Large/Medium/Small)- Lead business development across private hospital chains, Trust and standalone hospitals. - Build and strengthen relationships with hospital administrators, purchase heads, cardiologists, diabetologists, and key opinion leaders (KOLs). - Ensure formulary inclusions, empanelments, and contracting with hospital networks. - Monitor in-hospital brand availability, execution of promotional activities, and compliance.C. Portfolio Expansion & New Product Availability- Drive launch excellence for new products. - Identify portfolio gaps and work with Sales, Marketing, Medical teams to build a competitive and future-ready hospital approach. - Monitor supply chain efficiencies and product placement inside hospitals.D. People Leadership & Capability Building- Lead, coach, and develop a cross-level team including Front Line managers, Regional Managers, Sales Managers). - Build capability in hospital access, institutional selling, digital promotion, and scientific engagement. - Drive high-performance culture with robust review mechanisms and succession planning.E. Relationship Development & Stakeholder Engagement- Establish strong relationships with hospital management, key decision makers, Influencers, group purchasing organizations, and corporate hospitals. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams: marketing, supply chain, finance, and digital transformation. - Participate & drive presence for the company at medical conferences, hospital review forums, and industry events.F. Digitalization & Future-Ready Systems- Drive digital transformation across the hospital business including CRM adoption, digital detailing, analytics, and AI-enabled forecasting. - Implement data-driven decision-making through dashboards and performance analytics. - Identify present gap & future-ready models (e.g., hospital engagement platforms, digital patient pathways).G. In-Hospital Operations & Execution Excellence- Oversee all in-hospital activities including HCP engagement through sales team, product availability and educational programs. - Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, compliance guidelines, and company SOPs. - Collaborate with trade/channel teams for smooth logistics and timely supply.3. Skills & CompetenciesTechnical / Functional- Strong understanding of Indian hospital ecosystem and institutional sales. - Experience in Chronic therapy (cardio-diabetic therapy area preferred). - Expertise in P&L management, forecasting, and territory planning. - Strong network of hospital contacts, KOLs, and administrators. - Knowledge of digital tools, CRM, analytics platforms, and hospital procurement processes.Leadership / Behavioral- Operational & Strategic thinking with the ability to convert strategy into actionable plans. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. - Ability to lead and inspire multi-level, pan-India teams. - Strong analytical mindset and execution discipline. - High ethical standards, compliance orientation, and integrity.4. Eligibility Criteria- Education: Graduate in Science/Pharmacy (MBA/PGDM preferred). - Experience: Minimum 15 years in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales & marketing with at least 5 years managing institutional/hospital business. - Proven leadership in handling a large turnover (200+ Cr) and large teams. - Experience in cardiology/ diabetology/ critical care, Chronic care segments is an advantage.5.
