Position Title: Food & Beverage ManagerReports To: General ManagerCompany: Quorum, GurgaonExperience: 7 - 10 yearsThe Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all F&B outlets including the restaurant, bar, and private events. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences, drives team performance, maintains profitability, and upholds brand standards in service and operations.Key Responsibilities1. People Management- Lead and mentor the F&B team to deliver high service standards. - Conduct regular performance reviews and ongoing feedback sessions. - Identify training and development needs and support upskilling. - Foster a collaborative and respectful team environment. - Set clear expectations and recognize high performance.2. Operational Excellence- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring quality and consistency. - Uphold all SOPs and ensure compliance with FSSAI and internal guidelines. - Address guest concerns promptly and professionally. - Work closely with other departments for smooth coordination, especially for events. - Attend weekly operations and management meetings; conduct briefings at least twice a week. - Stay updated on industry trends and conduct regular competitor benchmarking.3. Guest Experience- Ensure exceptional service that aligns with brand standards. - Anticipate member needs and tailor experiences accordingly. - Handle guest complaints with a sense of ownership and resolution-focus. - Continuously enhance service through coaching and team development.4. Revenue & Cost Management- Monitor and optimize costs, including food, beverage, and inventory. - Upsell offerings and drive initiatives to improve revenue per cover. - Prepare and review monthly performance reports; take action to stay on target. - Understand and apply budgetary controls and P&L insights. - Streamline workflows to balance efficiency with service excellence.Key Skills & Qualifications- Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field. - Proven experience (7–10 years) in managing F&B operations in premium hospitality environments. - Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills. - Excellent understanding of F&B service, inventory control, and cost optimization. - Comfortable working flexible hours including weekends and evenings. - Strong grasp of hygiene, safety, and compliance standards.
