Headquartered in the Netherlands, we are active in over 150 countries and employ around 34,500 talented people who are passionate about delivering the high-performance products and services our customers expect.Asset & License Management Analyst: The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, managing, and auditing SAP and Microsoft product licenses to ensure compliance and optimal utilization of products and services within the organizationDevelops, implements and continuously drives optimizations in the License, Asset & configuration management process, both within Akzonobel as with our strategic partnersDrives the professionalization and optimization of License & Asset management. Responsible for planning, monitoring, and recording software license assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts.Works with the information available from the ITSM platform (ServiceNow). Further enhances the License & Asset Management platformWill develop and implement procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control & compliance throughout their lifecyclesRegularly reports out to relevant stakeholders on the license position per software product across the globe, including signaling potential risks and optimization potentials and financialsSupports IT Projects & Programs in during the project stages to the identification of License & Asset requirements, identification of procurement activities needed with Contract & Vendor Management/Sourcing and support the project team in developing the optimal charging mechanismManages and organizes periodical license audits conducted by software suppliers/vendors, including developing the right strategy per audit in cooperationInteraction with other departments- Build trusted relationships with the business and colleagues from IT, Finance, Procurement, HR & Legal - Support the designated Contract & Vendor Managers (Sourcing department) in managing global license/asset and vendor relations to agree the most strategically advantageous commercial license arrangement .Job RequirementsExperience / Education- Master/ bachelor degree in business management, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field of study - Minimum 5 years’ experience required in a similar role in a complex international environment - Demonstrated capability in implementing Software Asset Management frameworks and related software tooling (ServiceNow, SNOW, Flexera, Tachyon etc.,) - Demonstrated capability in managing software licenses and assets particularly SAP & Microsoft products (mandatory) - Advanced excel skills (mandatory) - Experiences with IT/License audits (mandatory) - Demonstrated track record in optimizing License & Asset Management processes and driving optimizations in usage (cost-reductions)Key Generic Competencies- Analytical thinker, structured, self-organized, execution driven, energetic - Establishes relationships, ensures alignment and cooperation (‘shoulder to shoulder’) - Internal drive to raise the bar by continuously looking for ways to improve current process - Networker, establishes good outside in relationships, stays abreast of external trends - Proactive and results driven, balancing “analysis” with “doing” to meet objectives - High level of accuracy - Lead by example and actively engage and motivate individualsRegards,Team Akzonobel
