NOTE: You have to register on our ATS (link is given here), submit your resume and provide the mandatory psychometric test to proceed with your application.Link: vacancy : 2Location : Navi Mumbai, IndiaReports to : Senior Structural Engineer / Associate Structural EngineerFunctional specialization : Engineering – structuralStatus : PermanentQualification : Master of Structural Engineering or Bachelor in civil engineering degreeExperience : 3 to 5 years post Master or 5 to 7 years post Bachelor degree experience in structural analysis and designGrade : 10 / 11Job summaryAs a provider of structural engineering services to the built environment, RECI is committed to design excellence in technical solutions which combine innovation, imagination and best practice delivered to international standards.We require a Structural Engineer to provide structural engineering expertise on projects in India and the Middle East from our office in Navi Mumbai.Working with a technical team providing specialised services to our clients, this is a great opportunity for a design engineer to gain additional and more senior experience interacting with renowned national and international consultants on exciting projects in India and abroad.Key responsibilities- Assist the Senior Engineer / Associate in preparing concept, preliminary and detail designs. - Carry out structural design and prepare construction drawings to Indian, British and American Standards. - Coordinate with architects, building services engineers, and other structural engineers. - Prepare markups for CAD technicians and check drawings when completed. - Carry out arithmetical checks and an independent design review of another engineer's design. - Responsible for the correctness and accuracy of own work and the work of allocated CAD technicians. - Ensure that allocated works are completed within the programme and allocated budget. - Ensure senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and that the objectives of the company and the client are achieved. - Give site backup on technical/design issues, where required. - Visit sites to address design-related issues as and when required. - Attend meetings with local authorities, coordination meetings with other departments and Clients as and when required. - Manage the statutory compliance of an organisation, liaison with local authorities and government bodies. - Mentor and assist Graduate Engineers - Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety and quality management.Requirements- Bachelor in civil engineering or Master in structural engineering degree. - Member of Institution of Engineers (India) or working towards chartered membership of the Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE) or civil equivalent. - 3 to 5 years post Master or 5 to 7 years post Bachelor degree experience in structural analysis, design and some site supervision. - Competent in the use of software packages i.e. Etabs, Safe, Robot, Staad, Prokon and the Microsoft suite of products packages. - Familiar with Indian, British and American Codes of Practice, such as IS 456, IS 1893, IS 800, BS 8110, BS 5950, ACI 318, AISC and IBC. - Be commercially aware. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Good communication, presentation and organisational skills. - Have a flexible attitude to both the type of work undertaken and the level of responsibility accepted.
