This is a project management support role that is a key contributor to the successful execution of special projects, people program deployment, HR project implementation for the Canada market. You will be responsible for supporting special project tasks and ensuring timely progress in alignment with GP strategy and goals in the market. You will develop and manage essential presentation materials and data artifacts to support the deployment and phasing of special projects across local markets.The candidate is expected to reside within India.Responsibilities:In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:People Programs Execution:- Execute assigned programs and associated tasks to meet high-quality and on-time standards - Coordinate with in-market People team as needed to ensure alignment on project scope, key tasks, and timeframes - Support the design and refinement of frameworks for program deployment to ensure consistency across markets - Complete all required administrative tasks to successfully execute employee programs, for entire program lifecycleEscalation, Metrics, & Risks:- Partner to establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of people programs and special projects, including but not limited to: employee engagement scores, adoption of tools, utilization rates, and adjust program execution tactics accordingly. - Triage and escalate project issues or concerns to the PEX North America Delivery Lead and relevant in-market team members - Present project progress updates to PEX North America Delivery Lead and relevant in-market team members - Identify potential risks in program deployment and develop mitigation strategiesProgram Deployment:- Create presentation materials & data management artifacts required for the effective deployment and phasing of special projects in local market - Contribute to the strategic roadmap for the People Program Deployment by identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement - Responsible for supporting People Program Deployment & HR Program Management - Monitor program performance and contribute to performance reporting - Clearly understand successful program deployment for restaurants, and support delivery of engagement materials to ensure successful deployment of programsQualificationsBasic Qualifications:- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field; advanced degree preferred - Experience working in Human Resources or Project Management - Experience operating in large, multi-national corporations in a highly matrixed, complex structure - Experience working across many countries and cultures - Understands the needs and challenges of global leaders - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions - Knowledge of learning & development trends, regulations, and best practicesPreferred Qualifications:- Technical knowledge in areas of HR processes - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-analysis skills - Ability to write well and communicate effectively across all layers of the organization - Knowledge of HR compliance and data privacy regulations - Strong business acumen - Open to learning new systems and processes - Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills - Positive attitude and a willingness to learn; self-starter - Strong ability to influence others; able to build and drive a strong business case for people as a growth driver - Project Management Expertise & Skills - Continuous improvement and growth mindset
