We are looking for an ambitious and skilled Software Development Engineer II to join our specialized AI/ML engineering team. This role is crucial for developing and deploying scalable, production-ready AI models and integrating them into core business systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python, modern MLOps principles, and experience transforming prototypes into robust, high-performance applications. Core Requirements - SDE-2 Backend + AI EngineerStrong proficiency inPythonfor backend development (FastAPI / Flask / Django). Solid understanding of websockets,REST APIs, microservices, and distributed backend fundamentals. Hands-on experience integrating and consumingmodel inference APIs(OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, local models, etc.). Practical experience withagentic frameworkssuch as: LangGraph OpenAI Agents SDK Google ADK (Agent Developer Kit) Expertise intool calling: designing tools, schemas, multi-agent workflows, and handling structured outputs. Strongcontext engineeringskills (retrieval strategies, prompt orchestration, token optimization, guardrails). Experience working with or buildingMCP (Model Context Protocol)tools/servers is a strong plus. Good backend fundamentals:SQL/NoSQL, caching, asynchronous processing, and performance debugging. Familiarity withsystem designand production-ready engineering practices. Experience with cloud deployment for AI agents is a plus(AWS/GCP/Azure). Strong communication skills and ability to own features end-to-end. Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services relevant to ML (e.g., SageMaker, Vertex AI). Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience in building and maintaining API services (e.g., FastAPI, Flask) to expose ML models for real-time inference. Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL). Familiarity with data versioning tools (DVC) and model serving frameworks.
