Position Overview:EHS Services Specialist, possessing 15–20 years of experience in implementing, monitoring, inspecting, and auditing EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) projects. This role demands expertise across diverse industries, including high-rise construction, data center construction, oil & gas, industrial safety, workplace safety, energy & power, renewable energy, cement, and retail sectors. The profile will bring a strategic approach to EHS practices, ensuring compliance with global and local standards, promoting sustainable practices, and enhancing workplace safety performance.General- Responsible for achieving the local Business Field (BF) commercial targets (P&L),including sales (in close alignment with the relevant Area Sales Managers (ASaMs)),costs and EBIT. - Responsible for defining the local BF strategy in line with TÜV Rheinland’s global strategy (TR+) as well as the global and regional BF strategies. Additionally responsible for implementing, communicating and controlling the local BF strategy. - Responsible for the local product portfolio of the BF including innovation, relaunch and elimination of products (taking explicit account of global product portfolio strategy). - Responsible for implementing performance processes, IT-tools and quality management within the local BF on the basis of global and regional policies and in coordination with the relevant Service Functions. - Responsible for the implementation of technical requirements related to relevant accreditation standards. - Responsible for know-how application in the local area. - Disciplinary and technical responsibility for the employees of the particular local BF. - Adheres to & implements corporate guidelines and regulations.Key Responsibilities:- Adept at developing safety plans, overseeing implementation as well as conducting field safety surveys, site safety surveillance and audits for compliance. - Proven Process and People management skills, successful in managing multiple priorities, skilled perform under pressure spontaneously, rapidly changing environment. Efficient in devising significant solutions, managing day-to-day operations and initiatives for maintaining sound Environment and Safety management. - Comprehensive experience in identification & management of complicated HS&E hazards and risks/unsafe conditions which could save a company’s personnel and equipment from burden of injuries and safety costs; skilled in improving the productivity of an organization by promoting adherence to HSE policies. - Effective in coordinating with local regulatory agencies and other relevant stakeholders for HSE programmes/obtaining permits/certifications as well as ensuring submission of reports in coordination with owner, contractor, subcontractor & suppliers Capabilities in training teams on implementation of EMS and OHSAS, problem identification and cost reduction results; conducted training sessions on Safety, Environment and Legal training at sites. - Skilled in developing procedures and manuals, effective implementation of HSE Management Systems and leading to EMS and OHSAS registration. - Experienced in conducting safety audits & risk assessment, implementing training & introducing various measures to achieve high safety in the organization. - Expertise in managing Process Safety, HSE Legislation, Emergency Plans, Mock Drills, HAZOP Studies, Staff Training and Regulatory Compliance. - Professional experience in HSE training and development, project experience, development and implementation HSE culture amongst different workforce. - EHS Implementation & Compliance: - Develop, implement, and manage EHS policies and procedures in compliance with international and local regulations. - Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analysis to identify non-conformities and implement corrective actions. - Lead EHS audits, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up on corrective actions. - Prepare detailed reports on compliance, performance, and recommendations for continuous improvement. - Provide technical leadership in EHS for high-risk projects, including high-rise buildings, data centers, oil & gas operations, and renewable energy installations. - Monitoring multiple ongoing projects and ensure the client deadlines. - Support in sourcing and mentoring of project base EHS Resource. - Act as a liaison between regulatory bodies, clients, and internal teams to ensure alignment on safety standards and expectations. - Conduct EHS training programs for workers, supervisors, and management to foster a safety-first culture. - Ensure adherence to the HSE roles, responsibilities & accountabilities as defined in MS-0047700-HSE Roles Responsibilities & Authorities. - Comply and ensure implementation of the company’s and the customer’s Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Process requirements.Preferred Candidates:- Proven track record of managing EHS operations in high-risk industries and large-scale projects, including data centers and energy projects. - Strong knowledge of local and international EHS regulations, standards, and best practices - Leadership and team management abilities. - Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Proficiency in EHS tools and technologies - NEBOSH International General Certification through accreditation body, - IOSH MANAGING SAFELY (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) from UK in Association with Green World Group - HABC Level 2 FIRE SAFETY from UK in Association with Green World Group. - Awareness of ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 EMS
