Job Title: Telecom Design Engineer – Oil & Gas IndustryLocation: Chennai / BangaloreExperience Required: Minimum 5 YearsQualification: BE / Diploma in EngineeringIndustry: Oil & Gas, Refinery, PetrochemicalJob Type: Full-timeJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Telecom Design Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant design experience in the Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Petrochemical industries. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the design and engineering of telecom and security systems and must be familiar with international standards and EPC workflows.Key Responsibilities:- Execute basic and detailed engineering of industrial telecom and security systems. - Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTO), offer evaluations, and technical bid summaries. - Review vendor documents for telecom systems: CCTV, PAGA, Radio, ACS, Telephone, IDS, LAN/WAN, SCS, Fiber Optic Systems, etc. - Prepare telecom block diagrams, philosophies, and system specifications. - Develop telecom installation layouts, cable routing plans, termination drawings, and building layout detailing. - Conduct coverage studies and reports for CCTV, PAGA, Radio, WiFi Access Points, traffic load calculations, etc. - Interface with other engineering disciplines in EPC workflows.Required Skills & Experience:- Strong experience in telecom system design in oil & gas environments. - Familiarity with standards such as ANSI, IEC, DNVGL, ETSI. - Experience working with international clients like ADNOC, Saudi Aramco (preferred). - Excellent organizational and teamwork skills.Optional Knowledge (Good to Have):- Fire & Gas Systems (F&G) - HVAC SystemsTechnical Skills (Including years of experience if need be)AutoCAD - DesirableMICROSTATION - DesirableSmartPlant Review - DesirableNAVISWORK Review - DesirableMicrosoft Office - EssentialHCIS Knowledge - EssentialHow to Apply:Interested candidates may send their updated resume to with the subject line "Application – Telecom Design Engineer".
