Objective of the role:Catering Manager's Key responsibilities often include managing staff, coordinating budgets, ensuring quality and guest satisfaction, and implementing strategies to improve business performance.This opening is for Mumbai. Location: Mira- BhayandarOnly local Mumbai Candidates are preferred.Role & Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development:- Identify and target new business opportunities in corporate, social, and wedding markets. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. - Prepare and present catering proposals and contracts. - Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies.Event Coordination & Execution:- Work with guests to understand their event requirements, budgets, and expectations. - Coordinate with the culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution. - Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown to ensure quality and client satisfaction. - Address and resolve any issues that arise during events.Administrative & Financial Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, bookings, and contracts. - Prepare sales forecasts and reports for management. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. - Work within budget guidelines to maximize profitability. - Developing menus, hiring and supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Qualification & Skills required:- more than 12+ years work experience in catering, hospitality, or restaurant management is crucial. - A bachelor's degree or accredited course in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field is often preferred. - Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines is essential. - Understanding of budgeting, cost control, and sales to maximize revenue.
