We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Talent Acquisition professional to lead and mentor our recruitment team supporting Canada. This is a hybrid role that combines hands-on recruitment for critical positions with team management and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a player-coach, passionate about both sourcing top talent and developing a high-performing recruitment team.Key Responsibilities1. Team Management & Leadership (40%)- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. - Conduct regular one-on-ones, provide continuous feedback, and support the professional development of team members. - Oversee the team's workload, ensuring equitable distribution and efficient management of requisitions. - Monitor team performance against KPIs (Time-to-Fill, Quality of Hire, Candidate Satisfaction) and implement improvement strategies.2. Hands-On Recruitment (40%)- Manage end-to-end recruitment for senior, critical, and hard-to-fill positions across various functions in Canada. - Develop innovative sourcing strategies to build a robust pipeline of passive and active candidates. - Conduct thorough screening, interviewing, and assessment of candidates to ensure a high-quality hire. - Partner closely with hiring managers in Canada to understand their team needs, define role requirements, and provide market insights.3. Recruitment Operations & Process Improvement (20%)- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the recruitment team, ensuring processes are efficient and scalable. - Identify opportunities for process improvement, technology adoption, and enhancement of the candidate experience. - Ensure all recruitment activities comply with Canadian employment laws and regulations. - Analyze recruitment data and metrics to create reports for senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations.Qualifications & Experience:- 8+ years of progressive experience in end-to-end talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a team lead, senior, or assistant manager capacity. - Proven experience recruiting for Canadian markets and a strong understanding of the EST time zone work requirements. - Demonstrated experience managing a team, including mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
