This role involves ensuring timely and accurate invoice booking, vendor and customer reconciliations, accruals, and audit compliance. You’ll also support monthly closings and prepare MIS reports related to AP and AR.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a member of our finance team, you will be entrusted with critical functions that support thecompany’s growth and financial health. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:1. Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable:● Ensure Timely booking of the invoices in the ERP● Ensure Monthly Accruals are done for Open Purchase Orders and Invoices not received● Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing by providing necessary AP reports.● Support audits by ensuring documentation and compliance with company policies.● Ensure Vendor Reconciliations and sign off on regular basis● Ensure timely booking of customer invoices in the ERP● Ensure monthly collections reconciliations with PGs2. Preparation of MIS:● Prepare the Management Information Systems (MIS) reports relating to AP and AR3. Regulatory Compliance:● Oversee and ensure compliance with key regulations including the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, and other indirect taxes.4. Process Improvement:● Identify areas for process improvements and bring efficiencies in existing financial systems and practices.5. General Finance Support:● Assist in various other finance-related activities and projects as needed, working closely with other departments.What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications● Educational Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Semi qualified CharteredAccountant (CA)/ MBA-Finance with 3-4 years of post-qualification experience or completed articleship.● Experience: Background in accounting, compliance, and financial reporting, exposure to healthcare or startup environments is considered a plus● Knowledge of Regulations: Deep understanding of GAAP, Income Tax Act, Companies Act, and indirect tax regulations.● Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to provideactionable insights from financial data.● Proficiency in Financial Software: Experience with accounting software and ERP systems(Zoho books), along with advanced Excel skills.● Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders, and senior management.● Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in reporting.Here are answers to some questions you may haveWho is Amura?We are a health startup with presence in multiple countriesHow old are you?7+ yearsWhat is special about you?Our clients are at the heart of the Amura protocol, an intensive health program.
