Role & responsibilitiesPatient Assessment & Diagnosis:- Conduct thorough assessments of patients physical condition, including medical history, mobility, and any physical limitations. - Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results and medical knowledge. - Identify and set appropriate treatment goals and outcomes in collaboration with patients.Treatment Planning & Execution:- Design individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on patient needs and conditions. - Use a range of manual therapy techniques, exercises, and modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrotherapy) to treat patients. - Provide education on posture, body mechanics, and self-management strategies for long-term health improvement.Rehabilitation Programs:- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs to address specific injuries or conditions, such as musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical recovery, neurological disorders, or cardiorespiratory conditions. - Track and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.Patient Education:- Educate patients about their conditions, the treatment process, and how to maintain or improve their physical health through exercise and lifestyle changes. - Provide guidance on injury prevention and managing chronic conditions, helping patients understand the importance of ongoing self-care.Collaboration & Communication:- Work closely with other healthcare professionals (e.g., doctors, occupational therapists, nurses) to provide comprehensive care. - Maintain clear and accurate patient records, ensuring all treatment details are documented in accordance with healthcare regulations. - Regularly communicate with patients and their families about progress, treatment plans, and any necessary lifestyle changes or additional interventions.Professional Development:- Stay updated on the latest research, techniques, and technologies in the field of physiotherapy. - Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.Qualifications:Education:- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent. A Master’s degree or specialized training in specific areas (e.g., musculoskeletal, neurological) is an advantage.Experience:- Proven experience as a Physiotherapist, with a strong understanding of physiotherapy techniques and patient care. - Experience in [specific specialty, e.g., sports rehabilitation, orthopedics, pediatrics, geriatric care] is desirable.
