This role focuses on ensuring precise chemical handling, process efficiency, adherence to safety standards, and quality control measures, essential for producing high-performance solar cells with optimal efficiency and reliability. This role involves ensuring precise control over silicon removal and cleaning parameters, maintaining parameters uniformity, troubleshooting technical issues, work on completion of already defined DOEs on reflection, silicon removal, BOM (additives and process chemicals) and report compilation.ResponsibilitiesSafety and Compliance :Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards, conducting regular audits and training to maintain a safe work environment. Proactively identify risks and implement corrective actions to ensure full compliance with safety regulations.Process OversightSupervise wet chemistry processes to prepare silicon wafers for solar cell manufacturing, ensuring efficiency and adherence to production schedules.Chemical ManagementHandle and manage chemicals used in wet chemistry processes, ensuring proper storage, handling, and disposal in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.Process OptimizationOptimize chemical concentrations, temperatures, and immersion times to achieve desired surface properties and cleanliness of silicon wafers.Quality ControlConduct inspections to verify the effectiveness of wet chemistry processes in preparing silicon wafers, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and surface quality.Documentation And ReportingMaintain accurate records of chemical usage, process parameters, quality inspections, and safety procedures.
