JOB DESCRIPTION – SITE ENGINEER (ROAD WORKS – BILLING & PROJECT CONTROL)Location: Project SiteDepartment: Engineering & BillingReporting To: Project Manager / DirectorKey Responsibilities- Prepare client billing, subcontractor billing, measurement books, and joint measurement sheets. - Maintain BOQ tracking, consumption reports, and cost-to-complete analysis. - Track project progress vs. plans; highlight deviations, delays, and resource shortages. - Work closely with MIS team to update chainage-wise progress charts and productivity KPIs. - Coordinate with survey, quality, and execution teams to ensure accurate billing quantities. - Maintain documentation for audits, client reviews, and contractual compliance.Required Skills- Strong command over measurement techniques, IRC/MORTH specifications, BOQ, and billing software. - Excellent Excel skills for billing abstracts, reconciliation sheets, and cost control. - Good understanding of planning, scheduling, and project monitoring methodologies.Qualification & Experience- B.E. / Diploma (Civil Engineering) - 2-5 years experience in road/highway projects, with solid exposure to billing & project control.
