Adhering to agreed TAT for processing of cases. Maintaining quality of underwriting Handling of projects allocated. Mentoring of underwriters Adhering to authorized limits and maintaining uniformity in underwriting Active participation in revision of underwriting guidelines and process Managing Centralized and Decentralized underwriting audits, responsible for accuracy compliance. Managing Retail Underwriting activity ensuring the TATs and Quality percentages are complied with. Managing the responsibility of designing/modifying the existing Underwriting guidelines of Life Insurance Coach and monitor Team leads in day-to-day operations. Analyze reports for team performance on processes. Escalate issues in a timely manner across functions and suggest alternative approach Enhancement of underwriting knowledge through reference manuals, trainings, exams and other available means.
