Company Description Established in 2017, Sukudo Studios is a creative dubbing and localization studio providing dubbing, subtitling, translation, voice-over, and podcast services. We work across short dramas, OTT content, reels, films, and digital media, delivering culturally authentic multilingual storytelling for diverse audiences. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role in West Bengal for a Bengali Scriptwriter & Dubbing Artist. The role combines scriptwriting and voice performance, involving writing and adapting Bengali scripts and performing dubbing/voiceovers for the same or related projects. Remote work is permitted only in exceptional cases and requires a professional studio setup. Key Responsibilities Write and adapt scripts in Bengali for short dramas, OTT content, reels, and dubbing projects Translate and localize content from Hindi or English into Bengali while preserving tone and cultural nuance Perform Bengali dubbing and voiceovers with accurate lip-sync and emotional delivery Edit and revise scripts based on creative and production feedback Coordinate closely with Team Leaders, directors, and sound engineers Candidate Requirements Experience: Fresher to 5 years in scriptwriting, dubbing, or voiceover roles Proficiency in Bengali Language Good command of Hindi and/or English for translation and adaptation Strong dialogue writing, storytelling, and voice modulation skills Ability to handle both writing and performance responsibilities Theatre, radio, dubbing, or short-form content experience is a plus Work Conditions On-site availability preferred Remote work allowed only with a verified professional home studio, including: Acoustically treated recording space Studio-grade microphone and audio interface Broadcast-quality audio output Must be available and responsive during working hours Comfortable with frequent revisions and tight timelines Why Join Sukudo Studios Work on end-to-end Bengali content creation (script to screen) Exposure to OTT, short dramas, and dubbing workflows Opportunity to grow in writing, voice performance, and creative direction Collaborative studio environment with experienced professionals
