As we expand our presence with a new Bangalore office, we’re looking for a Senior Architect who can bring design excellence, technical clarity, and strong leadership to our growing team.This is a role for someone who thrives in a collaborative studio environment, enjoys developing design ideas with purpose and precision, and wants to help shape both the work and the team behind it.How to Apply:Send your resume, portfolio (including BIM-related samples), and salary expectations to:Email: yddesignindia@Subject line format: SA1215 – [Your Name]What You’ll Be Doing:Lead the design and development of architectural projects from concept through detailed design and IFC package delivery.Produce high-quality drawings, BIM models, and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.Develop architectural concepts that balance creativity, functionality, and technical feasibility.Work on projects that include mid-rise and high-rise buildings (10 storeys and above), ensuring compliance with building codes, structural coordination, and façade requirements.Develop material palettes, detailing strategies, and project specifications that reflect both creativity and practicality.Coordinate with consultants, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure designs are fully integrated and optimized.Manage design iterations, design reviews, and project submissions across all stages.Ensure alignment with client expectations, design intent, and studio quality standards.Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver cohesive, well-resolved outcomes.Integrate sustainable and environmentally responsible principles into design solutions.Support value engineering exercises while maintaining design integrity.Oversee quality checks, drawing reviews, and adherence to internal processes.Work closely with the Design Director on major project decisions, presentations, and delivery strategies.Mentor junior architects and interns by providing design guidance, technical support, and structured feedback.Contribute to cultivating a positive, design-led studio culture in our new Bangalore office.What We’re Looking For:8+ years of professional experience in architectural design, with strong exposure to residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.Proven experience designing and delivering tall buildings (10 storeys or higher).Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for modeling, documentation, and detailed design.Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent professional qualification.Ability to develop feature-driven architectural concepts and translate them into buildable solutions.Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate, coordinate, and guide project teams.Excellent communication skills - both verbal and visual.A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a studio that values creativity and rigor.Capacity to balance design quality with deadlines, constraints, and budgets.A passion for mentoring emerging designers and contributing to a positive team culture.What You’ll GetThe opportunity to shape the culture and standards of a newly established Bangalore studio22 days of paid annual leaveHealth insurance coverageA collaborative, design-driven environment with room to grow and influenceMeaningful work across diverse project typesA supportive team that values autonomy, curiosity, and high-quality workWe’re excited to build our Bangalore team, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
