As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end features of our applications. Your day-to-day tasks will include writing efficient and scalable code, collaborating with team members to build user-centric solutions, debugging and resolving software issues, and contributing to product improvements. You will also take part in discussions to innovate and implement new features that align with our mission of empowering students and partners.Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain mobile apps using React Native and/or Flutter - Build and maintain a web app using React - Develop and integrate APIs (REST/GraphQL) and handle client-side state management - Collaborate with product/design to turn specs into polished, performant experiences - Write clean, maintainable code with good engineering practices (testing, reviews, CI/CD) - Debug issues across devices/browsers, optimize performance, and improve reliabilityRequirements (Must-Have)- 2–4 years of professional experience as a Full Stack / Mobile + Web Engineer - Strong hands-on experience with: - React (for web) - React Native (for mobile) - Flutter (for mobile) - Solid fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript (and Dart for Flutter) - Experience integrating frontends with backend services and APIs - Familiar with mobile release cycles (Android Play Store / Apple App Store basics) - Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and owning features end-to-endNice to Have (Good Signals)- Backend experience with Node.js / Express / NestJS (or similar) - Experience with databases like PostgreSQL / MongoDB / Firebase - Knowledge of authentication flows (JWT/OAuth), push notifications, and deep linking - Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Fastlane, etc.) - Prior experience shipping apps used by real customers (we love shipped products)Tech Stack (Indicative)- Frontend (Web): React, TypeScript - Mobile: React Native / Flutter - Backend: [Node.js / Firebase / Other] - Database: [Postgres / MongoDB / Firestore] - Tools: Git, CI/CD, REST/GraphQLWhat Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)- You’ve shipped meaningful features on mobile + web - The codebase is cleaner than you found it (small refactors, better structure) - Releases are more predictable: fewer regressions, smoother deployments
